Italy, sardinia, mediterranean sea – view of sea and countryside. Santa Teresa di Gallura

Filming mostly took place in the town of Santa Teresa di Gallura on the northern coast of Sardinia, about 30 minutes from Costa Paradiso where we lived for several weeks. It’s a beautiful area with a history of smuggling. Its main industry is now tourism.

You’ll find an adorable town square, archaeological sites, a rugged rocky coastline with incredible hidden beaches, and old war fortifications dotting the coastline. Santa Teresa di Gallura has been around since the 1800s and is full of ancient charm.
